Fuel Up: Island Kitchen for sit down, or The Green for on the go.
July 4th Parade: Main Street, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Family Fun: The parade on Main Street is complete with pie-eating contests and perusing all of the beautiful window boxes in town. There are also activities in the early evening at Children’s Beach. Alternatively, venture to Sconset for beautiful flowers and the bluff walk.
Most Coveted July 4th Event Invite: A private home (or boat!) where you can see the fireworks.
Not to Miss: Drive your car onto the beach and make an entire day of it.
Red, White, and Blue Inspo: Milly & Grace has the best clothing and always puts together the best outfits.
Top Table: The Galley is the best dining and firework combo.
Nightcap: The Pearl, Proprietors, Nautilus, back bar at Ventuno. Nantucket has the best restaurant scene. Impossible to narrow it down.
For the Fireworks: Picnic at Step’s Beach—and remember they are held Friday, July 5th!

Most Coveted July 4th Event Invite: Low-key BBQ at a friend’s private home.
Not to Miss: Fire Works in Sag Harbor.
Red, White, and Blue Inspo: James Perse. Both classy and of-the-moment.
Top Table: Tutto in Sag Harbor. The Cartoccio, or catch of the day, in parchment paper, is always a hit.
Nightcap: American Hotel. The name works, too, for this week!
