Braintree, MA - August 25, 2014 - Sentient Jet, a Directional Aviation Capital company, today announced a new sponsorship collaboration with Jazz Aspen Snowmass (JAS), a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization created to present and preserve jazz and related forms of music through world-class events, performances and education programs. The Labor Day Experience will take place August 29 through August 31 in Snowmass Village on the edge of the golf course located on Brush Creek Rd.
“We are pleased to be a part of Jazz Aspen Snowmass and support the preservation of jazz by taking part in the Labor Day Experience,” said Andrew Collins, president of Sentient Jet. “The lineup of artists is impressive and we invite our Aspen-based Cardholders and the public to join us in attending the three day event.”
The Labor Day Experience is a three day open air, dance oriented extravaganza of popular, R&B, rock, funk, blues, world and soul music, taking place at Snowmass Town Park, with the spectacular Elk Mountain Range as a backdrop. As a sponsor of the event, Sentient Jet will participate in various activities over the course of the weekend including hosting an on-site lounge for all three days, in the VIP Tent and VIP hospitality for event attendees and Sentient Cardholders.
“This year’s much anticipated event features a diverse line-up of artists and is shaping up to be a phenomenal weekend. We are thrilled to have Sentient Jet as a sponsor and make the event experience even more special,” said Jim Horowitz, Founder & President of Jazz Aspen Snowmass.
The Labor Day JAS Experience lineup is as follows:
The original June 1991 festival was inspired by its prestigious sister festival in Marciac (southwest) France, a charming village of 1,000 in the rolling hills of Gascogne, near the Basque country. JAS has grown from a simple three-day event in Aspen to a complex set of multi-day events in Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado; a summer series of free weekly performances; diverse year round music education programs; and the new JAS Cafe Downstairs @ the Little Nell, featuring outstanding jazz and world music throughout the year. From 2005-2011, JAS produced the Sonoma Jazz + Festival in Sonoma, California. JAS has contributed over $6 million to music education programs since 1996.
