Director, Charter Sales
Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify and develop relationships with C-Level executives and individuals of high net-worth
- Successfully manage new and existing prospects through the sales cycle
- Build a strong, self-generated pipeline of qualified sales prospects
- Build a strong referral network to support ongoing performance requirements
- Ensure a consistent performance of sales objectives each month

Experience

- A proven track record of selling high-ticket, high-dollar items to individual buyers
- Preference given to candidates with an existing pipeline of contacts or a demonstrate an outstanding ability to immediately network at this level
- Must possess a high level of integrity with a proven ability to establish trust based relationships for future client referrals

Receptionist
Position Summary
The receptionist will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering incoming calls, directing calls, additional clerical duties and project support as needed. (Location: Braintree, MA)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming calls by acquiring pertinent information to expedite a response to the caller’s needs
- Greet and direct visitors
- Maintain conference room calendars

Sales Development Associate
Position Summary
As a Sales Development Associate (SDA) at Sentient Jet you will be working with the one of the leading Jet Card sales team in the industry. This role is an exceptional way to gain first-hand sales experience in the private aviation world.
If you are passionate, a self-starter, and interested in a role where you can learn about the offerings and products of an industry-leading company from the “ground-up” this may be the role you have been seeking.
Truly exceptional SDA’s are ultimately considered as candidates for Sales Director positions within the various customer acquisition groups at Sentient.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prospect daily via phone and email to High Net Worth individuals, Fortune 1000 business executives and other potential private flyers
- Work directly with Sales Operations and senior Jet Card Sales Directors to plan daily activity levels
- Record all activities and enrich records within the company CRM system
- Develop a core understanding of the Sentient Jet product suite to successfully respond to basic prospect questions prior to hand-off to senior Sales Directors
- Handle and pre-qualify any potential inbound leads coming from a variety of lead sources including the Web, Phone, e-mail, or traditional mail
- Help develop and fulfill individual and targeted prospect and referral mailings on behalf of Sales Directors
- Develop any asked-for deliverables in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or Word
- Ad-hoc, “roll-up-the-sleeves” initiatives that are requested on an as-needed basis by Senior leadership
- A four-year college degree from a credible institution
- An exceptional work ethic and true desire to do the job right
- Previous cold-calling, call center and/or prospecting experience preferred
- Preference also given for previous work with Jet Card, Fractional, or Charter Sales, Services or Management but not required
- Computer experience, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Maintain a positive, helpful demeanor under stressful circumstances

Sales Intern
Position Summary
Sentient Jet is seeking a highly talented individual to join the Sales team. The Sales Intern position is an exciting opportunity to gain Private Aviation industry exposure and join a company that serves the world’s elite business executives, political figures, athletes and entertainers as well as other luminaries. Sentient will provide you with skills and tools that you can leverage in your future career – the experience can be as much as you make it. (Location: Braintree, MA)
Duties & Responsibilities
You will directly support the sales team in driving quality lead generation and sales for high net worth individuals. Receive real world experience while developing business and sales skills. Daily responsibilities may include:
- Research potential new clients through various primary and secondary resources
- Develop new and innovative ways to generate leads and drive sales
- Work with Sales Operations personnel and Sales Directors on ad-hoc projects
- Work with Sales Development Associates on various outreach activities
- Initial prospecting work via phone, email, and other customer “touch” points
- Manage direct mail program from start to finish
- Shadow various Sales Development Associates and Sales Directors
- Constantly measure performance and hits target goals
Qualifications
We are looking for talented individuals with a commitment to generate results and a passion to learn the world of sales. You will gain and cultivate strong selling/communication skills, and a successful intern will have the following attributes:

The time-frame for the internship is 10 weeks. Schedules can be flexible and are 10 hours per week. You must be able to travel to the Braintree office.
You will be working with some of the brightest and energetic folks in the private aviation world. This will be a visible position and for the right, unique individual could put you on the fast track to eventually pursuing a role in Sales and Marketing. Compensation will be $8 per hour and we are looking for 10 hours per week for 10 weeks.

Trip Manager
Position Summary
Provide premier services to Sentient charter customers, which are comprised of wealthy individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 1000 companies through cooperation with Sales Directors. Responsible for meeting customer needs by responding to any customer inquires (via incoming calls and emails requests) as well as proactively resolving problems before they occur.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver consistent best in class service to clients
- Work in concert with partner Sales Directors in facilitating positive client relationships
- Promptly answer incoming phone calls be able to quote, source, confirm and input flight reservations and ancillary service requirements into the Sentient Application
- Trip Manager will utilize the App to understand aircraft availability and quote trips
- Trip Manager will maintain and build relationships with the operators that are utilized by Sentient
- Facilitate catering and ground transportation arrangements for clients as needed
- Trip Manager will be responsible for arranging all service requirements and inputting them into the App
- Schedule appropriate crew and aircraft for client trips
- Trip Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the operator and crew are approved for use by Sentient and meet all of the safety requirements as set forth by our Chief Safety Officer
- Monitor daily and future flight schedule to ensure stellar service delivery
- Trip Manager will work with Flight Operations and the operators to spot potential issues that could hinder service delivery and advise the Sales Director of such in a timely fashion
Skills & Attributes
- Must possess excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Must have strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel Outlook, etc.)
- Must be detailed oriented, organized and possess the ability to multi-task
- Active listening skills
- Must possess a sense of urgency and the ability to meet critical timelines
- Must have self motivation and the ability to work with little supervision
- Must be a team player, have great inter-personal skills and the desire to work cross functionally with multiple departments

Experience
- 1-3 years work experience
- Understanding Part 91 and 135 regulations preferred
